   A baptismal gown. The short sleeved, white cotton baptismal gown has a thin lace trim at the cuffs and around the neckline. The top shoulder seams are inset with decorative pleated seam that looks ruffled. The waistband has embroidered circles. The majority of the skirt has embroidered satin daisies and openwork rosettes. The hem is scalloped with eyelets. There are four sets of buttons and buttonholes on the back.
