Description |
Ceremonial collar for Dania Ladies Society Dannebrog of California and Nevada. One in a set of eight nearly identical collars (1988.012.127-.134). Bright red velvet collar edged with silver trim and has silver metallic fringe along outer and bottom edges. Long ends of collar hang to about the waist and widen significantly towards bottom. Long ends joined in proper front by a large (1.75" in diameter) red velvet-covered button. Towards bottom of proper right, is the letter "P." in silver trim. Proper back surface lined with light pink material (cotton?). Manufacturer's tag on proper back of proper right. It reads: "FROM / B. Pasquale Co., Inc. / 112-114 Kearney St. San Francisco / SOCIETY GOODS MFRS". |
