Provenance |
The bootees were owned by Alvine Nielsen, a friend of the donor's mother. The donor's mother was Ludevikke Frederika Leopoldina (Buck) Jespersen. -------------------------------------------------------- Alvine Jensen Nielsen was born in Story City, Iowa, on October 26, 1904. She grew up in a sod house near Flaxton, North Dakota. Alvine married Einar Jule Nielsen (b. 12/26/1901 and on WOH), who she met in Iowa, in Los Angeles. Alvine was a friend of the donor's mother. She died in 1987 and Einar died in 1988. |
