Description |
A large, rectangular tablecloth made of white damask with a floral and striped pattern woven throughout the fabric. The floral pattern is very fine. The two short ends have a rolled hem, and the two long sides have a selvage for the hem. |

Provenance |
This tablecloth was brought back from Denmark in 1936 by the donor's grandmother, Anne Christiansen, during a family trip as a gift for her son. The tablecloth was then given as a gift to the donor's parents, Ejner Christiansen and his wife, Arta (Pedersen) Christiansen. A note in the file indicates that the tablecloth was bought at a factory in Denmark. |
