Description |
Decorative plate from the Bing & Grøndahl company. The plate is decorated on one side with a scence in blue tones and white. The scene is of a large steamer ship on the ocean. The ship has a name on it in the lower left hand corner which reads "Jensbang." The ocean water has white peaks on the waves and there are six small stars located at the top of the scene. On the bottom center of the plate is the title of the piece which reads "JULE AFTEN-1951" On the back of the plate there is no decoration. There are a series of makers marks in the center. These are the Bing and Grundel three castle mark in light green, a small blue letter "K" to the right, and the inscription "M/S JFNS BANG" in light green below. |
