Provenance |
Christian Neergaard, the donor's father, did the burn work. This was one of his hobbies. Most of the pieces he did with a gas pen, very long ago, and they are deep and rich. Some years later they came out with an electric pen, which of course he had to try too, and they too are very pretty, but not as rich as the old gas ones. The pieces in this gift are all made with the gas pen. |
