Description |
A ribbon or badge used in the Dania Ladies Society Dannebrog of California & Nevada. The two-part ribbon is made from metal and sateen. The upper portion consists of a rectangular golden metal frame with a piece of white paper inside that has "DKD" printed in black. The back of the frame has a horizontally oriented pin used to secure the object to clothing. A rectangular, vertically oriented red and white Danish flag ribbon is attached to the bottom edge of the metal frame. The ribbon is made from sateen or possibly a silk blend and has white cotton fringe along the bottom edge. |
