Description |
Red satin banner, rectangular in shape, vertically oriented. The banner is straight on top and sides and comes to a point at the bottom center. The bottom edge is trimmed in white fringe. The banner has a sort of sleeve built in at the top for the rod to pass through. The banner reads as follows in white: "JADA / Youth Auxiliary / (shield form with a sort of wreath around it and "J A D A" and a white heart inside) / Danish Sisterhood / of / America". Nothing on back. Wooden rod that slides through a sort of sleeve at the top of a red satin JADA Youth Auxiliary banner. The rod is cylindrical, unpainted over most of it, and has pointed ends which are painted gold. Tied to the rod just inside of the tips is a red braided cord with a tassel at each end. The cord ties to the rod on each side, has a little give at the top so the banner can be hung from it, and then the cord hangs off the rod on either side almost to the bottom of the banner, with a sort of decorative knotted area about halfway down. Tassels are at the ends. |
