Description |
Large dark metal commemorative medal featuring a raised image of Martin Luther in the center. Luther wears a box shaped hat and has shaggy shoulder-length hair. Only the shoulders of his garment are visible. Around the rim text reads, "DOCTOR MORTEN LUTHER/ REFORMATOR." There is only text on the back side. Text around the rim reads, "EISLEBEN WITTENBERG WORMS/ 1483- 10 NOVEMB- 1883." Text in the center reads, "MINDE/ OM LUTHER'S/ 400/ AARIGE FØDSELS-DAG." There is a small loop at the top in order for this medal to be strung. |
