Description |
Notice board or sign. Consists of large rectangular black canvas with a thin strip of wood at the top and another at the bottom. At the top center is a nail with a string, and at the two outer ends of the top board are wires, all for hanging. The canvas reads in white lettering - wax? - as follows: "North Bound South Bound Poplar on time Elk Horn late Fiscus on time Rorbeck any Manning tomorrow time" There are two columns - one for "North Bound" and one for "South Bound". The lettering is visible on back, with the surface actually sinking in or pushing out toward the front. |
