Description |
Square red tablecloth commemorating the 800-year anniversary of Copenhagen. Printing on tablecloth features official symbols of Copenhagen, as well as illustrations of buildings and other landmarks in Copenhagen. The names of these sites are written below. The proper center of the tablecloth has the official seal of the city in red, blue, white and black. The seal has the Latin phrase: "SIGILLVM CIVITATIS hAFNENSIS" [sic]. To the outside of the seal, there are four lesser coats of arms of Copenhagen, also in red, blue, white and black. However, the lesser coats of arms are inaccurate; note the symbols atop the towers. The outer edges of the tablecloth have illustrations of buildings and other landmarks in Copenhagen, with the names of these sites printed below, all in white. The words "DANISH DESIGN" are printed in white in the proper right bottom corner. Writing (and illustrations) along the proper top edge: "800 ÅRS JUBILÆM * NØRREPORT 1809 * GHR.
