One of 36 black plastic game pieces. Disc shaped with ridged edges on both sides. They closely resemble checkers. In raised letters on one side is "HUSKER DU / BY REGIINA" and a crown and an "R" at the center. On the other side is a ring that extends down a little more than the outer ring. This center ring fits into the holes on the game board to cover the illustrations. See 1998.112.002a-ll for complete game. |

Provenance |
This game was brought back from Denmark after a trip by the donor's father Einer Jensen (b. Oct. 24, ca. 1890, d. Oct. 1992 or 1993). He and his wife immigrated around 1916, and farmed in Minnesota. Einer went back to Denmark nine times throughout his lifetime. He stayed for an extended period between 1920 and 1924 when he rented a farm. He went broke and returned to the U.S. |
