Description |
One of twelve matching candle dippers. It has a turned handle, about hand length, which attaches to a thin disc, flat on both sides. The handle attaches the center on one side and on the other are eight metal hooks for attaching the candle wicks to while dipping. The wood is dark brown. There is some candle wax attached to the disc and the hooks. |

Provenance |
Axel made the candle dipping stand and dippers. The stand was patterned after pictures from the National Museum (in Denmark). It was made in 1965 for a folk fair in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. |
