This box, with the lid portion and contents, belonged to the donor's parents. --------------------------------------------------------------- The gift lot contains slides and equipment used to following a trip the donor's parent took in 1953 to Denmark. The donor provided a small bit of information. His parents were Johannes and Ebba Petersen. They resided in Omaha from 1933 until their deaths that occurred in the early 1980s. Johannes was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and Ebba was born in Bird Island, Minnesota. Their parents were Danish immigrants. Johannes' family has roots in Randers, Jutland, Denmark. Ebba's family comes from the Island of Bornholm in Denmark. During the trip, Johannes and Ebba visited relatives in these areas. The slides document the trip. |
