Commemorative plate for the Hope Lutheran Church in Enumclaw, Washington. White plate with a gold trim on the inner and out edge of the rim. The flat rim is light blue and where it dips down into the "bowl" of the plate, there are intricate gold designs. The "bowl" of the plate has an illustration of the church amongst trees, all done in blue, and the name and location of the church is below, also in blue. A history of the church is printed on the back center in black, and the manufacturer's mark is below it. |

This plate commemorates Hope Lutheran Church of Enumclaw, Washington. From the back of the plate: "Established in March, 1894, Hope Lutheran is one of Enumclaw's oldest churches. The congregation first met in the old Montgomery Hall. The present structure was erected in 1899, with Rev. Jensen Mylund as pastor. The congregation received the articles of incorporation in 1900, which were amended in January, 1943, and the name changed from Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church of Enumclaw to the present Hope Lutheran Church." |
