Provenance |
A note associated with this object indicated that the tools from this drafting set belonged to Asmus Christian Vogt. They may have been made in 1882 by his father. He was born in Nakskov, Denmark on Dec. 13, 1868. He immigrated to the U.S.--Omaha, NE--1892. He died in Evanston, IL on June 10, 1949. During his lifetime, Vogt practiced metalworking.
