Description |
White cotton baptismal dress with light blue embroidery around the neck, sleeves, and hem. On each side of the front collar there are three vertical pleats. Sleeves and hem have scalloped edges. Two metal snap closures on the back. |

According to Ramona Tepaske, one of the donor's adopted daughters, this dress was one of two dresses in this donation made from the same pattern in the 1920's by Sorine Petersen (May's grandmother). Christine's daughter, Mary Petersen Madsen embroidered them for May. This dress was worn at May's baptism. |
