Description |
A change purse. The small, oval shaped change purse is made of plum colored velvet. A curved metal hinge frames the top that has a thin metal link handle attached. Across the top of the metal hinge, the words "Henriette / 23 Octbr 1865" are engraved into the surface. At the front center of the purse, the letters "R" and "O" overlap and are embroidered into the velvet. A thin, metal chain with four metal beads is attached along the bottom edge. The purse is lined with light pink cotton or linen. |
