Description |
Ink print on tan colored leather of the profile of a Native American chief. It shows the proper right side of the man's face. He is aged with wrinkles on the face, especially the cheeks. The man is wearing an elaborate feather headdress. The artist's mark is located in two spots. Under the print to the viewer's right reads, "OW/2C" and below this at center is "Olaf Wieghorst./2C". The tan colored leather is housed in a wood frame with deep edges. A medium brown-stain with a semi-gloss varnish covers the wood. A horizontal hanging bar is located on the reverse side at top center. |

Astrid Mary Christensen Mortensen immigrated in 1954 and settled in Pasadena, California. |
