Description |
Pin is round and is blue and gold. There is a circle around the outside which is gold with a blue center. Attached to the top is a gold compass and ruler symbol with a blue "G" in the center. For the Shriver organization. It is attached to a small pouch like piece which snaps shut. It is dark green and says "H.E. CHANEY / JEWELER & OPTOMETRIST / AUDUBON, IOWA." on it. |

Provenance |
Andrew Jorgensen was the maternal grandfather of the donor. Andrew Jorgensen was born June 24, 1875, and came from Denmark in 1881. He settled in Audubon County and was married on June 26, 1896. He was a farmer for a while then became sheriff after moving into town. Andrew died January 8, 1928, while in office serving his fourth term (each term being two years long). |
