A wedding gown, part of a set. The gown is made from ivory satin and netting. The bodice is made from satin and has a scoop neckline with thick straps. There is a peplum or flounce detail at the waist made from satin as well. The skirt portion consists of wide, alternating bands of netting and satin. There is a large satin bow at back center. The proper left side of the bodice has an opening that is closed with a row of metal hook-and-eye closures. Although the dress seems slightly short, it was a full-length gown for the bride's height. |
