Description |
Black and white photo of the women's gymnastics team at Grand View College. It's cut into a diamond shape with flat sides. There are five rows of young women, and they are outside a brick building on the steps. Each is in a dark uniform with short-sleeve shirts, skirts, stockings and shoes. A paper accompanying the photo identified the woman on the second step up from the bottom on the far viewer left as Dagny Muller. There are identifications listed on the back of the photo, but some were cut off when it was cut into a diamond shape. Those still visible read: "[Dorothy] Madsen / Lena Hansen / Bodil Fenger / Marie Schmidt / Anna Christensen / Astrid Søndergaard [illegible] / Gudren Kelso / Gudie Jorsensen [illegible] / Edel Rasmussen / Dagny Muller / Manda Madsen / Marie Ammentorp". |
