Description |
Black and white photo postcard of a man and woman standing outside a house, a small pine or spruce tree in front of them. On the viewer right is the woman, who is wearing a dark-colored dress, gathered at the waist, with long sleeves and a light-colored collar. Her hands are clasped in front of her. The man has on a dark suit coat, vest, and pants with a hat and watch chain. There is another woman standing on the porch of the house behind the man. A third woman is to the viewer's right of the woman by the tree. The back was printed as a postcard but has been cut down. There is a message in Danish written across the back. Its legible parts read: "Tillykke til diu fødselsdag, og at din gerning x maa bringe dig glæde og de Smaa velsignelser i det kommend aar Igaar var vi til missionsmæde hos Hans Madsen og [remainder illegible]". It is signed "P.J. og D. Bertelsen" at the bottom." "Dagny" is written in blue ink beneath the signatures. |
