Description |
Black and white photograph of a man and woman standing on a snow-covered road with bare trees lining the street. The man is to the viewer's right. He is wearing a dark coat, scarf, pants, and gloves. He is holding his hat in his proper left hand. He is linking his proper right arm with the woman. The woman is standing to the viewer's left and is holding her hat in her proper right hand. She is wearing a dark coat with large buttons and gloves. Her head is tilted toward the man. They are both looking at the camera and smiling. Houses can be seen at the far right and in the center background of the photo. In the background to the viewer's left are snow-covered fields. The back of the photo reads "Hans og jeg paa Spadseretur / Nytaarsmorgen 1938. / Hans + Aase Kappus 1938." Behind this last line are two other letters written in lighter ink, but they are not very legible. |
