Description |
Black and white photograph of three people sitting on the running board of an early-20th-century-style two-door car with topper. The man on the viewer left is going bald; he is wearing a dark-colored suit and bow tie with light-colored shirt and gray-toned coat. The woman seated in the middle is wearing a dark dress with light-colored collar; she has a dark hat and handbag as accessories. The man on the viewer right is wearing the same outfit as the other man, except he has a tie instead of a bow tie. Both are holding caps in their hands. There are bare trees in the background. The photo has a white border. Handwriting on the back reads, "Uncle Kaj and friends / Grayling 1915". Kaj Hansen is presumably the man on the viewer right. This is one of 17 photos or photo postcards called "family group snapshots and postcard" that were owned by Agnes (Jorgensen) Johnson. |
