Description |
Black and white stereoscope card entitled, "(405) First U.S. Regulars, Peace Jubilee, Phila. Pa." Along the (viewer's) left and right edges of the front side of the card is the stamp, "The Cosmos Series. New York, U.S.A." Stereoscope card measures: 3.438" L x 7" W The photographs on the front side of the card show a parade scene with several groups of uniformed men, marching in rows; led by a uniformed man on a horse. There are spectators along the (viewer's) left side of the photograph tall stone building on either side of the street. Overall the stereoscope card is in good condition. The outer edges of the front side of the card are lightly worn, and there is some staining/fading in the stamped lettering along the (viewer's) left side of the card. The photographs have some light scratches throughout. The photograph on the (viewer's) left side of the card has a smudge/scuff along the (viewer's) left side. The photograph on the (viewer's) right side has a few small white spots along the bottom/center edge. The back side of the card is black/grey. In the (viewer's) upper right hand corner there is a stamp in navy ink that reads, "CHRIS." In the (viewer's) bottom right hand corner, written in dark pencil is, "V9Y/ 64 (?)." There are light scratches throughout the back side of the card. |
