Description |
A black and white photograph of a Danish gathering in 1921. According to the donor, the picture may have been taken in front of Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa. There are several individuals identified in the photo, on the photograph with blue ink pen. The photo arrived rolled and needs to be flattened. "D.S.U." is along the bottom edge near the right--stands for "Dansk Sammensluttet Ungdom" or Danish United Youth. It was apparently a Midwestern group, and the primary sponsor of the Danish Young People's Home in Minneapolis. There is no writing on the back of the photograph |
