Description |
Black and white stereoscope card entitled, "Surrounded by the Flower Gems of Autumn, Horticultural Hall, Fairmont Park, Philadelphia. Copyrighted 190(?) by William H. Rau." Along the (viewer's) left edge of the front side of the card is the stamp, " E.W Kelley, Publisher, Studio and Home Office, Chicago, USA." Along the (viewer's) right edge of the front side of the card is the stamp, "Sold only by E.W. Kelley, Chicago: Dallas, Tex.: Augusta, Ga." Stereoscope card measures: 3.438" L x 7" W The photographs on the front side of the card show a woman in a suit with a large, netted hat, standing in the middle of a flower patch. The back side of the card is completely black. Overall the stereoscope card is in good condition. The outer edges of the front side of the card are lightly worn and the faces of both photographs have many light scratches and a few smudges. Also, the (viewer's) lower right hand corner is slightly dented and there is a small black dot in the (viewer's) lower left hand corner. The back side of the stereoscope card has lightly worn edges with a few light smudges/scratches throughout. The (viewer's) upper right hand corner has some small black spot stains. |
