Description |
Photo album page with one black and white photo on one side and eight on the other. THE SIDE WITH ONE PHOTO: The large photo is of a large group of men in the same outfits - light-colored shirts with small Danish flags on the chests pants. They are holding a banner in the center of the group--it looks like a Danish flag with "MIT LEGEM MIT HJARTE " at the top and "D.S.U." and something else on the bottom (can't read the second). Some of the men are identified - The man second from left in front is Vilhelm Larsen, and the third is Andrew Andersen. The third in the back row is Jacob Juhl, then Valdemar Larsen, then Niels Hede, then Christian Andersen, then Axel Jorgensen. The man second from the end in back from the right is Carl Andersen. THE SIDE WITH EIGHT PHOTOS: In the upper left is a woman in a dark dress with her arms behind her. She is not smiling. Below is her name - Maren Krag. The left center photo is of three girls. The center girl looks the youngest and has her arms around the two on the outside. None are smiling, but all are dressed up. Below is "Clara Jensen and sisters, Withee." The lower left corner is a photo of three women. Two are standing on top of a tree stump and the third is on the ground in front. There are trees in the background. They are not identified. The second from the left at the top is of four women seated and standing together in pretty white dresses and big hats. They are identified below as "Alma, Mary, Edna, and I." The third from left at the top is of one woman, Marie Rasmussen. She is seated with a white blouse on and a light colored pin-striped skirt. Her left arm is resting in her lap. She has a pocket watch pinned to her blouse. The upper right photo is of two female nurses. One is seated and the other is standing behind her. The name below is Mariane Olsen. The lower center photo is of two women. One is seated in a chair and the other is sitting on the arm of that chair. Both are reading a piece of paper. The woman on the arm is Albertina, and the other is Dagmar Miller. The lower right photo is of four women sitting in the yard outside in front of a large flowering bush. They are all in dresses. Below is "Anna M___, Agnus Jacobsen." |
