Description |
Black and white photograph of nine men in dark suits and ties - the Board of Directors either of the Danish Hall Association or one of the Danish lodges. Ole Rasmussen stands in the center behind a small table; there is a book on the table and he is holding another. There is a ring on his viewer left ring finger. There are four men, two seated and two standing, each to the viewer left and viewer right. They are posed in front of a faux studio background. The photograph has a white border and is mounted on a gray paperboard backing, with handwriting on the back. The left column of writing reads: "Front row from left: / Viggo Lynby / N P Anderson / Fred Petersen / Frank Petersen". The right side reads: "Back row from left / Christoffer Jensen / _____? / Ole Rasmussen / Peter Petersen / John Myrtue". Underneath is "Board of Directors of Danish Hall Assn / or / one of Danish lodges". Down and to the left, it reads, "Donated to Danish Hall Association / November 18, 1973 / by Roy Rasmussen (his father standing in middle)". The names at the top were originally written in pencil, then inked over. Stamped near the center is: "FROM / Schmidt Photographer / Council Bluffs, Iowa". |

The men in the front row include, viewer left to right: Viggo Lynby, N.P. Anderson, Fred Petersen, and Frank Petersen. In the back are Christoffer Jensen, an unknown man, Ole Rasmussen, Peter Petersen, and John Myrtue. |
