Description |
Black and white stereoscope card of the "National Monument and Museum Bldg., Copenhagen, Denmark." Along the (viewer's) left edge of the front side of the card is the stamp, " E.W Kelley, Publisher, Studio and Home Office, Chicago, USA." Along the (viewer's) right edge of the front side of the card is the stamp, "Sold only by E.W. Kelley, Chicago: Dallas, Tex.: Augusta, Ga." Stereoscope card measures: 3.438" L x 7" W The photographs on the front side of the card show a monument with a robed woman and two lions, with a large building with portico and friezes in the background. On the backside of the card, written in pencil is "105 T" and "See neg," which has been crossed out. Also, stamped on the back side in black ink, is an underlined "A" and "1558." Overall the stereoscope card is in good condition. The outer edges of the front side of the card are lightly worn and the faces of both photographs have many light scratches. The (viewer's) right outer edge on the back side of the card is slightly more worn, and the (viewer's) upper, left hand corner has a very slight dent. |
