Description |
Black and white photograph of a group of actors, mounted on tannish/gray matte board. The photo shows a man on the left in a dark suit smoking a pipe. The second man from the viewer's left is also smoking a pipe, as is the third man from the viewer's right. The man in the front on the viewer's left is wearing white and holding what appears to be a rifle in his lap--he is seated Indian style, next to a young boy, also seated on the floor and holding a gun--a double barreled shotgun? The man next to the boy is seated on a chair and has his feet outstretched. He has a white apron on. There is a woman in a dark outfit on the viewer's right in back, next to a man in a suit, next to the man with the long pipe, next to a flag. On the opposite side of the flag is a man in white, a woman in white, a man in a suit, a man with a pipe, and another woman in white. Their identifications are written below. On the back, the play's name is recorded ("Genboerne"). Their names are: standing "--Johanne (Utoft) Johansen, Jens Thygesen, Einar Häsgaard, Karen Hansen Bollesen, / Varner Hagerrup, Paul Mark, Jens Grumstrup, Kjersten Sörensen" / sitting "--Jens Börresen, Johannus Thomsen, Einer Lewis, Svend Hansen." (unsure on some spellings) Writing on the back says "duplicate", ""Genboerne"", "Danebod Archive" and "duplicate". |
