Description |
Black and white photograph of four men on a lake. Two young men stand on the dock to the viewer left with their arms around each other; they are wearing dark slacks and light-colored shirts with the sleeves rolled up. The one on the viewer right is also wearing a cap and dark wide tie; he has one foot up on the dock support. The other two men are in the rowboat in the water; they are dressed in a similar manner. The edge of the lake is covered with greenery and the water stretches behind them. The photograph has a white border. Handwriting on the back at the top in pen reads "?" and below in pencil, "Grayling Mich / Kaj Hansen & / friends". This photo is one of seven called "Belle Isle, Michigan and other lake snapshots" that were owned by Agnes (Jorgensen) Johnson. |
