The image shows a float with fluffy white sides, a facsimile bindingsværk-style building with a large clock painted on the front, and a young woman and man. The sign on the viewer right side of the float reads "TIME TO / CELEBRATE OUR / DANISH HERITAGE". The woman, seated on the viewer left, is wearing a blue dress and a white sash. The man on the right is wearing dark-colored trousers and what appears to be an FFA jacket. There are more people and floats in the background. The photo was printed on "Foxprint" paper in "OMA / DEC 76". This is one of fifteen color photographs showing Kimballton, Iowa on June 5, 1976. |
