Copy of photograph of family getting ready to leave for Arizona in 1928. Family is standing in front of a 1926 Ford truck which had been made into a motorhome. They are standing at the home of Mads & Laura Strandskov. Left to right they are (back row)Mads Strandskov, dressed in white shirt, suspenders and dark pants, Alfred Jensen, dressed in suit, tie and a hat, Florence Rodrigues has on hat with no brim and dress with wide square collar, Valborg J. dressed in sweater with white buttons and a kerchief tied on her head, Laura Strandskov has white dress. (front row) Laura Wylie dressed in a plaid dress with long white stockings, Norman J. dressed in sweater and long pants, Otto J. also dressed in long pants and shirt holding a hat in his hand, Leo Jensen is wearing jacket with white shirt and dark pants. Copied photo has decorative border around edges. Donor writes on white cardboard to which photo is attached; "Ready to leave for Arizona in 1928 in Alfred J. 1926 Ford Motorhome. At the Mads & Laura Strandskov home". Then identifies the people as above. |
