Description |
Color photo of a parade entry in Kimballton, Iowa. A black horse is pulling a tall round float decorated with bands of red, white, and blue. A woman is standing in the float with her upper body appearing from a hole in the top; she is wearing a white blouse and hat and holding the horse's reigns. There is a small illegible sign on the side of the float. The body of the float is likely a livestock water tank. A church is in the background across a grassy lawn, and there are some other people and vehicles in the shot as well. The photo was printed on "Foxprint" paper in "OMA / DEC 76". This is one of fifteen color photographs showing Kimballton, Iowa on June 5, 1976. |
