Summary / Description |
Soft cover book, vertically oriented. Bright yellow covers. On front in brown print is an illustration of a farmer squatted down, right hand on his right knee, left elbow on his left knee, looking at the viewer. A woman holding a baby is behind him and to the viewer's right. Behind them is a team of horses and a wagon. The title and author are in the upper left. Also in that corner is a white paper sticker taped with the ID number. Another sticker with the ID number is at the bottom of the spine, below the printed title. Contains 122 numbered pages of text and photographs. Inside the front cover, on the title page, is stamped in the upper right "The Danish Immigrant Museum / Box 178, Elk Horn, IA 51531". 6 5/8 x 8 3/4 PROVENANCE: This is the first donation to the museum's collection. |
