Summary / Description |
Hardcover book, vertically oriented. Brown covers. On front is the title with accompanying line and scrolled designs at the center in gold, and on the spine the title appears between line dividers. Inside is a paper card holder with "No 150 / Denne Bog maw / beholdes i 14 Dage." written on in black and "The Christian Reading Circle / Elk Horn, Iowa" stamped below. The same stamp appears on the inside of the front cover near the top center below where a price was written. At the top right of the page with the pocket is written "No 150" and "Lars Larsen" which is crossed out. Contains 350 numbered pages of text. 5 3/8 x 7 3/4 PROVENANCE: This book may have belonged to Lars Larsen. It was included in the inventory of the Elk Horn School Library and later the Christian Reading Circle of Elk Horn. |
