Scope / Description |
A Confirmation card with a carved cross in the middle, carved edges and painted flowers. The card has a little cord attached to its left side. The first page says "Til Lykke i Anledning af Konfirmationen fra Hr. Hansen & Kone" (Congratulations in connection with your Confirmation, from Mr. Hansen & wife). In the lower right corner a date is written in pencil: "4-12-1896". The inside pages has a poem in Danish on the left, and a Biblical scene of Jesus as a shepard on the right. A plastic enveope goes with the card. A note on the envelope reads: "Confirmation Card to my dad, Hans Karl Jensen, April 12, 1896". |
