Handwritten minutes in a black hard cover loose leaf notebook with two heavy silver rings in the holes on the side for holding the pages together. The front of the cover had written in gold "University". The spine of the cover has black cloth tape which extends around the cover approx. 3/4" on both back and front. Inside the cover is printed in black University Loose leaf note book, Generally adopted by all school's & colleges standard punching. Fillers for these binders on sale at all Woolworth stores. .05 a package. Stationery Department, F. W. Woolworth Co. Name...(filled in with black ink) Peter Transburg, Farmington Minnesota. Inside back cover are calendars for years, 1930, 1931, and 1932. Four sheets of notebook paper in the notebook. First page has notes written in pencil, of meeting in Spencer, Iowa. The notes included roll call, 49 pastors, 67 delegates. The following congregations were admitted to membership in synod. The Danish Evang. Luth. congregation of Elk Horn Iowa, The Bethany Church of Tilley Alberta Can. Elias Danish of New Brunswich Can. On Thurs morning Roll call was 65 pastors, 83 delegates. The other 3 pages were blank. |
